EnWG
Stromkontor Netzgesellschaft mbH, as an operator of electricity distribution grids, is subject to the provisions of § 19 Para. 1. of the Energy Industry Act (EnWG), taking into account the conditions laid down in accordance with Section 17 EnWG, for the grid connection of generation plants, electricity distribution networks, plants of directly connected customers, interconnectors and direct lines, to define and publish minimum technical requirements for their design and operation. Operators of energy supply grids are obliged to comply with publications in connection with grid access pursuant to § 20 (1) EnWG. Stromkontor Rostock GmbH hereby complies with this obligation. Determination of the basic supplier pursuant to § 36 EnWG

According to the legal requirements, operators of energy supply networks of general supply have to determine the basic supplier for the next three years every three years on 1 July, for the first time on 1 July 2006, as well as to publish this on the internet by 30 September of the year and to inform the competent authority according to Land law in writing.
The basic supplier is the energy supply company that supplies the most household customers in a general supply grid area.
In accordance with the above-mentioned specifications:
Stromkontor Rostock GmbH is the basic supplier of electricity in grid area 1 “Überseehafen Rostock”.
In grid area 2 “Medienstadt Babelsberg”, Energie und Wasser Potsdam GmbH is the basic supplier of electricity.
Stromkontor Rostock GmbH is the basic supplier of electricity in grid area 3 “Delmenhorst”.
Stromkontor Rostock GmbH is the basic supplier of electricity in grid area 4 “TechnologiePark Bergisch Gladbach”.
Stromkontor Rostock GmbH is the basic supplier of electricity in grid area 5 “Berlin Pankow Park”.
Stromkontor Rostock GmbH is the basic supplier of electricity in grid area 6 “Braunsbedra Krumpa”.
